Signs and Symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is usually asymptomatic at diagnosis. Type 2 diabetes is the most common type of diabetes and is caused by elevated blood glucose levels, decreased insulin production and/or insulin resistance. Most Type 2 diabetics do not have signs of the disease, but rather it is discovered on routine laboratory results. For example, an individual would have an elevated glucose result, and this would prompt further evaluation to determine if Type 2 diabetes was present.

Classic Symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes

Even though most individuals are asymptomatic at diagnosis, there are some classic symptoms to be aware of, and medical attention should be sought if any of these symptoms are occurring:
1) Increased urination (polyuria) occurs when blood glucose levels in the urine are greater than 180 mg/dL, which is the kidney’s glucose threshold. This excess of sugar in the urine (a condition known as glycosuria) can be assessed by taking a urinalysis.
2) The increased urine glucose causes increased urination through osmotic diuresis. Osmotic diuresis is increased urine amount due to certain substances being present in the filtering component of the kidney. When a substance, such as glucose, cannot be reabsorbed in the kidney, an increased amount of fluid is pulled into the kidney leading to increased urination.
3) The increased urination can lead to a state called hypovolemia, which is a low volume of fluid inside the body, otherwise known as dehydration.
4) When a person is dehydrated he has increased thirst. If an individual attempts to replenish his fluid loss with ingestion of fluids that have a high concentration of sugar (such as sodas), the situation is dramatically worsened, increasing the urination and fluid loss even further.
5) Nocturia, or increased urination at night, may also be present.
6) Blurred vision can occur due to the elevated glucose concentration in the blood.
7) Occasionally, weight loss will occur in some individuals, especially if they cannot produce much insulin. When the body does not have enough insulin to drive glucose into cells for energy, it will begin to break down fat and protein. This causes rapid weight loss, but it’s typically temporary. Weight gain will occur after the diabetes is properly treated.

Super Eagles Players And Coach React To ‘Group Of Death’ World Cup Qualifiers

Last week Friday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were paired against Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers with only the best team qualifying to the showpiece event in Russia. Current Super Eagles players and Interim coach Salisu Yusuf have voiced their opinions as regards ‘the group of death’
‘Without any doubt, this is a tough draw but with commitment, determination and motivation, the Super Eagles will scale these hurdles and qualify for the 2018 World Cup.’ -Interim Head Coach, Salisu Yusuf
‘Far from easy, but it’s the hard road that leads to success. Let’s take this opportunity and earn our spot.’- Leon Balogun
‘I think it’s a tough draw, but I never imagined we were going to get any easy opponents on the way to 2018 World Cup. I believe that we can do it. If we can put everything in place structurally for all members of staff and players to focus on just the games, together with the support of our nation we will be successful.’-
William Troost Ekong
‘At this stage of football, tough groups like the type we have found ourselves are to be expected. To get to the World Cup, we cannot cut corners or relax or take things for granted.’ The World Cup is the biggest football stage where you meet the best of the best, so getting there will be tough. ‘Now, we have to be prepared to work hard. If we work hard together as a team we will win matches and if we win our games we will qualify.’ The media have to be involved in this as well. They (media) have a huge role to play in motivating and psyching our team to do well. Everything is in our hands, we must plan well and ensure our house is in order. I believe we will qualify.- Brown Ideye
‘This is a very good group. All I will say for now is that we will do our best to qualify.’-Ahmed Musa

FG to unveil plan for affordable housing Monday

Minister of Power, Works and  Housing, Babatunde Fashola

The Federal Government will on Monday unveil its plans towards the provision of affordable houses for Nigerians in line with the electoral promises of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, will make the plan public on behalf of the government at the Affordable Housing Summit 2016 being put together by the ministry in partnership with German Development Cooperation.
A member of the summit’s Technical Working Group, Mrs. Eucharia Alozie, disclosed this to journalists in Abuja.
Alozie who is the ministry’s Head of Public Private Partnership Unit was joined at the briefing by the Principal Consultant of Value Chain Project Consultants Limited, Dr. Joshua Egbagbe and the Leader of the Value Chain Unit of GIZ, Mr. Christoph Pannhausen.
“The minister will  be unveiling the Federal Government housing plan to the public during the summit. We will also produce blueprint that will be implemented very soon,” she said.
She explained that the summit would serve as a platform where the public and private sectors would share ideas and proffer sustainable strategic framework for housing delivery in Nigeria.
She said the ministry would use the opportunity of the summit to identify the challenges facing the sector and proffer solutions.
According to her, the summit was different from an earlier one where a housing roadmap was launched.
Alozie assured Nigerians that the event would not be talk shop but more of action.
She said the summit would address the five pillars on which affordable housing stood.
The pillars, according to her, are land‎; incentive and concession; off-takers strategy; housing finance;  skill development and technology.
Also speaking, Pannhausen said the summit would come up with a blueprint that would be implemented in the subsequent months and years.
He said the affordable housing would be placed more on the door steps of the private sector ‎who understand the market and how to invest in it.

Many feared killed in Ogun as militants strike again

                            Some militants

Samuel Awoyinfa, Abeokuta
Many people were feared killed when militants swooped on Elepete and Igbo Olomu communities in Ogijo area of Ogun State on Thursday night.
The communities are not to be far from Imushin, a community where no fewer than 15 people were killed by militants on Friday last week.
In the latest attack, at Elepete and Igbo Olomu, a source within one of the communities, who spoke anonymously, said several of the victims were landlords.
Due to incessant armed robbery attacks in these areas, the landlords were said to have mobilised themselves, formed a vigilance group, and had made bonfires at strategic points and were on patrol when the militants swooped on them.
Mistaken identity
The militants, who were said to be returning around 11pm from the creeks where they had allegedly gone to perpetrate their illegal business, opened fire as they arrived at Elepete after they mistook the vigilance group, for law enforcement agents.
As they fled, the militants were said to have chased them, gunning more of them down.
Around noon on Friday, the source said 30 dead bodies had been accounted for from various points, and that many residents have fled the communities for safety.
“They came out from the creeks. The whole communities have already been deserted. We need the presence of the Nigerian Army, Air force and Navy to curtail the excesses of these militants,” the source said.
However, the police said only two persons were confirmed dead.
The Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Police Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said only two people were killed by suspected militants who have been laying siege on the communities.
He said, “Two people have been confirmed dead. The militants came again and attack the community. We will only continue to work collectively with all relevant agencies to stop the attacks. They came yesterday (Thursday) and attacked and went back to the creeks.”
Adejobi added that the police would fish out the criminals.

Sad Kate Henshaw Urges Striking Doctors, Govt. To End Face-off

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has called out doctors to value the importance of human life and call off the strike.

The actress expressed sadness when she went to one of the hospitals and saw the state at which patients are been treated.
“When I went to LUTH I spoke with a nurse whose identity I would not disclose, she told me that they use their money to buy stuff they need to work with and also the patience on top of that there is hardly electricity especially at night, their allowances have been cut, but on closer and thorough investigation, they have not had the necessary promotions, that is why there is strike, if there is any part of us as human, please call them back so that they can resume work”. She said
The Government was not left out on the issue as she also said, “It is really a sad thing when we do not value human life in our nation, Nigeria. The total lack of basic and qualitative health care in this country is appalling. That some can afford to travel outside the country for their medical needs no matter how minute (myself included) does not mean we forget those who cannot.”
She however appealed to those concerned to put necessary thing to place so as to allow nurses ensure safety of life
“I am using this platform to call on the management of LUTH to kindly end this strike so that patients can get the necessary treatment. The work conditions there are a huge challenge but the doctors and nurses try to do their best in these circumstances.. A part of the Hippocratic Oath says to “treat the ill to the best of one’s ability”.. As many as can lend a voice please do… A lot of lives are at stake.

Dissolve my marriage before I commit murder, man begs court

A 56-year-old clearing agent, Emmanuel Adedeji, has told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his 16-year-old marriage before the devil uses him to commit murder, because his wife maliciously accused him of using his son for ritual. Adedeji informed the court’s President, Mr. Adegboyega Omilola, that his wife, Funmilayo, with whom he had two children in their 16-year-old marriage, was defaming his character. He said: “My wife accused me of using my physically-challenged son for money ritual. It is God that blessed me with wealth, I never used my son. “Funmilayo beat me up in public and tore my clothes to rags. She is always raining curses on me very early in the morning and those curses are now coming to pass in my life,” he said. Adedeji pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage, that he was no longer in love and do not want to commit murder. “Please, dissolve the marriage before the devil uses me,” he begged the court. Meanwhile, Funmilayo, 49, a food vendor, owned up to the allegation of raining curses on her husband. She said: “Yes, I always rained curses on him because he used to beat me. On two occasions, he had beaten me to pulp and I ended up in hospital.” Funmilayo said that her husband had been starving her of sex for the past 12 years. “My husband has refused to sleep with me for 12 years now for no just cause,” Funmilayo said. The mother of two said that she accused her husband of using their son for money ritual because his money started booming immediately the baby was born. She said: “My husband’s wealth came after the birth of our baby. Our son is now 14 years old but neither walks nor talks.” She begged the court not to grant her husband’s request, saying she still loves him.
The court president, Mr. Adegboyega Omilola, after listening to the couple, adjourned the case till June 23 for further hearing.

Age-Proof Tips To Keep Your Brain Young, Healthy

imageWhen you think about fitness, you probably think about your body shape and muscles, but do you ever consider brain fitness? Your brain plays a critical role in every area of your life, from learning, working and playing, to personality, aptitude and memory. While the brain is one of the body’s most important organs, it is also one of the most mysterious.
What’s good for your body is good for your brain. That means eating a balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies and not much sugar, saturated fat, or alcohol, as well as getting enough exercise and sleeping about eight hours a night. Every brain changes with age, and mental function changes along with it. Everyone want to stay sharp as they get older. Although aging is inevitable, there is a lot you can do to keep your brain as young as possible.
Feed your brain: A healthy diet will help keep your brain healthy, and help your heart, too. Eat lots of colourful fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and cold-water fish like wild salmon. Choose healthy fats that come from polyunsaturated fats like olive oil  instead of saturated fats like butter. And consider adding these brain healthy foods to your menu like Blueberries, salmon, nuts and seeds, whole grains, avocados, beans, citrus fruits, vegetables, dark chocolate etc.

Improve your blood pressure: High blood pressure in midlife increases the risk of cognitive decline in old age. Use lifestyle modification to keep your pressure as low as possible. Stay lean, exercise regularly, limit your alcohol to two drinks a day, reduce stress, and eat right.
Don’t abuse alcohol: Excessive drinking is a major risk factor for dementia. If you choose to drink, limit yourself to two drinks a day. But if you use alcohol responsibly, you may actually reduce your risk of dementia. At least five studies have linked low-dose alcohol with a reduced risk of dementia in older adults.
Protect your head: You may be surprised to learn that moderate to severe head injuries early in life increase the risk of cognitive impairment in old age. Concussions increase risk by a factor of 10.
Stay Physically Active and Healthy: Overall physical health is closely linked to brain health, making a healthy body key to a healthy brain. Exercise significantly improves health in many ways, from helping to maintain a healthy weight and keeping cholesterol levels in check, to maintaining good blood flow to the body and brain and encouraging the growth of new brain cells and connections.
Exercise your brain: If you want to stay sharp, use your brain now, and don’t stop. The latest research shows that exercising your brain throughout your life slows mental decline in old age. Keeping your brain active appears to protect the connections among brain cells, and may even help you grow new cells.
Improve your blood sugar: Diabetes is an important risk factor for dementia. You can fight diabetes by eating right, exercising regularly, and staying lean. But if your blood sugar stays high, you’ll need medication to achieve good control.
Improve your cholesterol: High levels of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol increase the risk of dementia, as do low levels of HDL (“good”) cholesterol. Diet, exercise, weight control, and avoiding tobacco will go a long way toward improving your cholesterol levels. But if you need more help, ask your doctor about medication.
Smile to boost brain health: Smiling is free and boosts brain health, it gives birth to new brain cells and encourages changes in areas of the brain associated with learning and memory. It makes your brain more flexible, more resilient and better able to cope when challenged by injury or neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Smiling releases hormones that make you feel good, lowers blood pressure, boosts immune function and protects against stress, depression and anxiety.
Socialize: Humans are wired to be social even introverts, learning new experiences and new friends  and old friends do more than enrich your life. Research shows that an active social life helps reduce your risk of developing dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. The theory is that social connections help keep the connections between your brain cells (neurons) strong.

Premature Ejaculation - Caused by High Blood Pressure

By Herballove Editorial
Although it seems unlikely that blood pressure and premature ejaculation could be linked, they actually affect one another directly on many levels. Blood pressure abnormalities, such as hypertension (high blood pressure)can seriously contribute to weak erections and premature ejaculation. In addition, the stress and anxiety that comes with high blood pressure can make sex extremely difficult and make ejaculation control nearly impossible.
Current traditional blood-pressure medication simply resolve blood pressure problems, but does not remedy the sexual difficulties that often times go hand in hand with the illness.
If you are suffering from inability to hold ejaculation longer than 15 min and high blood pressure, taking action to control blood pressure and herbal remedy to help you strengthen ejaculatory nerves for better control.
Silent Marriage Killer
Sometimes there are no symptoms; but if they occur, they may include headaches, difficulty in breathing, low energy, indisposition, blurred vision, weight gain, increased heart rate, or a feeling of dizziness and nausea. Most men suffer from impotency and/or premature ejaculation due to hypertension. Hypertension is called the "silent marriage killer" because it often reveals very few symptoms, yet has a devastating effect on a man’s sexual performance. Plus, because of the lack of symptoms, many men are left without answers and very few clues as to what the problem could be.

A Cause for Panic
Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing up against the blood vessel walls. The higher the pressure the harder the heart has to pump. Hypertension can lead to several diseases and damaged sexual organs making ejaculation happened prematurely. Finding out the cause of your high blood pressure is the first step toward regaining back your ejaculation control.

There are many causes for high blood pressure, as there are many causes for premature ejaculation. While some people have low pressure by nature, others are predisposed to dangerously high levels of blood pressure.

Here are some risk factors for people who have suffered from premature ejaculation or other sexual problems associated with high blood pressure:
  • Age
  • Alcohol
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Diabetes
  • Diet
  • Over Weight
  • Genetics and Race
Change of Heart - Win Back The Control
Normalize the blood pressure is the key for healthier heart and better sex life. Take immediated actions to adopt a healthy diet & lifestyle are very important to stablize blood pressure.
Taking blood-pressure-lowering medicines is a temporary fix. The side effects of hypertension drugs can induce a set of erectile dysfunctions.

This is due to the fact that many of the medications treat blood pressure by smoothing muscles and blood vessels, including those that can be found in the penis. Instead, seeking assistance from natural herbal formula can stimulate and rejuvenate damaged ejaculatory nerves. In addition, all-natural solutions can gradually lower your high blood pressure.

CJN inaugurates disciplinary tribunal for architects

Ade Adesomoju, Abuja
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, has inaugurated the Architects Disciplinary Tribunal.
A statement by the CJN’s media aide, Ahuraka Isah, said that at the inauguration, the chairman, secretary, members and assessor of the tribunal took oaths of office administered by Justice Mohammed.
The current President of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, Umar Aliyu, was sworn in as the Chairman of the tribunal, while the Registrar of ARCON, Umar Saulawa Murnai, was inaugurated as the secretary.
Other members of the tribunal are Gabriel Ajayi, Emmanuel Omatsome, Waheed Brimmo, Njoku Adibe, Saleh Yunusa, and Aliyu Mode.
The assessor is Nwabuike Edechime.
The tribunal was set up by virtue of Architects (Registration, etc) Act, Cap A19, LFN 2004.
The law empowers it to conduct hearings into the disciplinary matters pertaining to conducts that contravene the Rules and Code of Conduct guiding the ethics of the profession.
The CJN urged tribunal members to abide by their oath of office and oath of allegiance and be fair and just to those whose matters would be brought before them.
“Yours is like the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee that handles disciplinary cases against Lawyers alleged of involvement of infamous conduct in the legal profession.
“The body awards sanctions of various degrees on erring lawyers including Senior Advocates of Nigeria; and also sets some free if the allegations against them are unsubstantiated.
“Your tribunal is therefore vested with quasi-judicial functions that require you to give a fair hearing to parties and be just to those appearing before you.”
The tribunal chairman, Aliyu, commended the CJN for making it possible for the tribunal to be duly inaugurated and vested with the legitimacy to act.
Aliyu noted that the inauguration of the tribunal had been delayed for the past six years, until the CJN’s intervention to constitute it.
He said, “We sincerely thank the CJN for painstakingly making this inauguration, which could not be done for the past six years, a reality.
“This nation that has been suffering from incessant incidents of collapsed buildings and unscrupulous elements for a long time, owe the CJN a debt of gratitude.”

I Planned To Make Vehicles Run On Gas – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday said his intention during his regime was to develop the nation’s natural gas for vehicles to use and reduce dependence on imported petrol.
Obasanjo said he gave out licences to companies in a bid to achieve this, adding that by now, 50 per cent of the vehicles in the country should have been running on gas.
The former President stated these during a courtesy visit by the management of Nipco Plc to him at his Presidential Hilltop residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In 2006, the Obasanjo administration gave out licences to three companies, Nipco Plc, Contact Global and Global Steel, for the development of Compressed Natural Gas for vehicles.
But it was gathered that only Nipco, which later went into a partnership with the Nigeria Gas Company to form Green Gas Limited, had invested significantly in the project since then.
While reacting to comments by the Managing Director, Nipco, Mr. Venkataraman Venkatapathy, Obasanjo said, “When I gave the licence in my time, the idea was to use what we had and by now, we could have put half of all the vehicles on gas.”
Venkatapathy had earlier said the replacement of petrol by the CNG would save Nigeria the much-needed foreign exchange on importation of petrol.
He said, “The CNG is a superior auto fuel alternative to liquid fuels mainly petrol and diesel, specifically for countries like Nigeria, which is blessed with abundant (over 186 trillion cubic feet) availability of natural gas that remains untapped.
“To replace 20 per cent of the current petrol consumption of Nigeria, natural gas required is less than five per cent of the total domestic gas consumed currently and less than one per cent of the current gas production. Foreign exchange saved will be close to $2bn.”
According to him, in Benin City, Edo State, over 4,000 vehicles run on the CNG which resulted in replacing 20 million litres of petrol from 2012 to 2015 and forex savings of over $9m.
He said Green Gas had developed nine operational CNG stations, with three stations under completion and five under construction.
A former Special Assistant on Petroleum Resources to President Obasanjo, Dr. Muhammed Ibrahim, who was on the Nipco team, said, “I was one of the team members when President Obasanjo was in office in 2006 that initiated the full concept of development of gas for vehicles and other applications in the country.
It was during his regime that President Obasanjo awarded three licences to three companies to invest in the promotion and diffusion of Compressed Natural Gas for vehicular application in the country.
“But because of the capital-intensive and high-tech nature of the project, only one company today after 10 years has invested millions of dollars in the project such that the entire Benin City is encircled with a network of gas pipelines with about seven CNG gas stations providing the CNG to more than 4,000 vehicles.
He said the company had constructed the largest CNG station on the African continent in Ibafo, Ogun State.

So often at loggerheads, Brazil legend Pele and Argentina icon Maradona put their differences to one side for Hublot’s Match of Friendship at the Palais Royale in Paris to mark Euro 2016.

The 75-year-old Brazil great and 55-year-old Argentine legend even embraced during the five-a-side exhibition game in a sign that they have drawn a line under their long-running feud.

Pele and Maradona played the roles of coach as two teams of former stars went head to head in the palace garden the day before France play Romania at the Stade de France in the opening game of the Euros.

Former England captain Rio Ferdinand, ex-Holland midfielder Clarence Seedorf, former Spain and Real Madrid defender Fernando Hierro and Italy’s World Cup-winning defender Fabio Cannavaro were among the names to take part.

‘I want to thank Pele, we know who he is and who he will always be. We need icons like him,’ said Maradona, who starred in Argentina’s 1986 World Cup triumph.

The Science of Stress - How is stressed linked to the body and can it be responsible for sexual dysfunctions like premature ejaculation?

By Herballove Editorial
Learn the solutions to this common problem: STRESS. Basically, stress is all the ups and downs of your life.

What Is Stress?
You might be surprised how much stress is running through your daily life. Stress is more than just the worry you have concerning work or school. Stress comprises all the surprises, joys, sorrows, and pain that you experience. However, stress is more than just the mental and emotional events you come across. Stress also includes all the physical wear and tear that you deal with.

Sexually, stress will cause a decreased enjoyment of pleasure, increased sensitivity to pain and stimulus, occasional impotence, and the constant occurrence of premature ejaculation.
Normally, stress is a good thing. It helps us concentrate on important tasks, urges us to do things, and creates a new perspective, while generally making life more interesting. After all, how exciting can life be if everyday held no surprises or challenges? It might be stress-free, but extremely boring.

Occasionally, a stressing event may push you past what you may be able to handle, such as being unable to sleep because of worry over a test or excitement of a trip the next day. The emotions caused by a breakup in your relationship or someone passing away can be extremely overwhelming. All of these are obvious.

But sometimes, constant and persistent everyday stressors can build and affect your body the same way a larger event can. Problems with work, relationships, and your life can pound away at you until you break.

How Does Stress Affect The Body and Sex?
Most of the time, our bodies are able to handle the routine stressors of life. Missed the bus? No problem, I’ll walk. Deadline coming up? I’ll focus and concentrate. Our bodies were designed to meet these challenges by stimulating the sympathetic nerves, as they:
  • Increase our heart rate to circulate more blood
  • Produce hormones and chemicals for concentration and thinking
  • Stimulate the body to produce more blood sugar and adrenalin thus providing more energy
  • Divert the blood from less vital areas (such as the digestion system and genitals) to arms and legs for strength
  • Increase breathing to provide more oxygen to the body
When it comes to sexual functioning and stress, the problem arises when your body is unable to keep up with all the demands put upon it. Our body has a certain threshold for stress.

Once it is surpassed, it will start to affect different parts of our bodies in negative ways.

Common problems with stress are difficulties with sleep, lack of energy, depression, mood swings, headaches, body pains, impaired immune system resistance, gastrointestinal complications, and of course anxiety.

How Stress and Anxiety Induce Early Ejaculation
Stress and stress-related anxiety induce all these problems by stimulating the sympathetic nerves and creating an imbalance of chemicals and hormones. The sympathetic nerves are responsible for a man’s urge to ejaculate.

Normally, this impulse is low and needs to be built up through sensory and mental stimulation until the orgasm is reached. In cases of stress, the sympathetic nerves have already been excited and overworked. Men will begin sex with a very strong impulse to ejaculate and of course climax far too soon.

To add to all the problems, stress wreaks havoc on chemical and hormone levels.

The most important of these are neurotransmitters. These substances are responsible for running the brain and sending its messages to all your organs, muscles, and tissues. By inhibiting its production, your parasympathetic nerves won’t be able to counteract and control the sympathetic nerves (the ones responsible for orgasm).

At all times, there is a constant struggle between the two. In a normal and healthy person, the parasympathetic impulses they receive from your brain are stronger than the sympathetic impulses. Stress causes early ejaculation by not only overexciting the sympathetic nerves, but also retarding and weakening the control of parasympathetic nerves. Exposure to a long-term stressful environment would make it even worse.

Ways To Eliminate Stress
  • Reduce the factors - The best way to cure premature ejaculation caused by stressed is simply by reducing and eliminating the causes of stress.
  • Take on a lighter workload from school or work - You may be pushing yourself too hard by taking on extra work or putting in more hours in a day. You need to find a healthy balance between work and play. If the daily demands are high and there isn’t a whole lot you can cut out, then perhaps a break from it all is what you need.
  • Take a vacation - A different perspective and a new environment may be what you need
  • Lighten your social engagements - Just because you’re not working, it doesn’t mean you’re not stressing. Yes, play gives much less stress than work and can even help to decrease work stress, but play is still another form of stress if you have too much of it.
  • Set your body clock - Your body clock is responsible for many important things like sleep, body temperature, and your production of many important chemicals including serotonin. By following a regular sleep schedule and getting enough sleep, your body will have a better chance to replenish its resources during sleep while providing you more energy and control when you’re awake.
Diet
The foods you eat have a lot to do with the amount of stress you are able to take. Eating more vegetables helps to increase your body’s natural production of serotonin by improving and promoting the absorption of the amino acid, tryptophan. (Synthetic L-Tryptophan is not recommended and may contain fatal side effects.) Red meats also contain natural tryptophan.

However, because of the high amount of other amino acids contained in meat, the absorption of L-Tryptophan is extremely low. Vegetables offer a much richer source for the amino acid.

Reduce, or better yet eliminate, caffeine and sugar from your diet. Most people supplement the natural energy they have by drinking coffee, soda, or eating sugary foods. These may have the temporary effect of giving that extra boost you’re craving for, but in the long run it will alter your own body’s ability to supply needed energy and deal with stress.

Carbohydrates are also extremely important in a diet, especially if you feel fatigued and rundown from your normal day. Instead of opting for caffeinated and sugared pick-me-ups, eating more complex carbohydrates – like cereal, rice, pasta, bread, and potatoes – takes the body longer to break down, which provides a steadier supply of energy over a longer period of time.

Herbal remedy
By far, an herbal supplement is your easiest and most effective choice to help your body deal with the physical elements of stress. By increasing the production of essential neurotransmitters, hormones, and increase liver's detoxification of stress hormones, the affects of stress can be diminished.
Peace of mind natural calm ejaculation control remedy consist of invigorating, holistic, and calming ingredients to help you control ejaculation better, reduce stress, and bring back peace of mind for you. Invigorating ingredients like Rhodiola, Schisandra, and Tribulus will provide the extra boost of energy you need to get through the day. Holistic herbs like Chrysanthemum and Dong Quai will help to heal the whole body to bring you back into balance. Calming herbs like Os Draconis, Chrysanthemum, Passion Flower, and Jujube Ziziphi will calm and relax your nerves to provide the extra control you’re looking for.

No Recreational drugs
Some people may use alcohol to suppress the anxiety and stress of a long day. Or, they may use tobacco, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and amphetamines to give them that extra boost.

These methods might work and are sometimes very potent, but the dangers of altering your body chemistry and creating an addiction will far surpass any benefits you may receive. In the long run, these will decrease your threshold for stress and ruin your ability to control ejaculation.

What If All Else Fails?
If you try all these solutions and still can’t alleviate stress yourself, be aware that it might be an early warning sign of some hidden illness. Problems with a thyroid disease, calcium imbalance, anemia, diabetes, bi-polar depression, liver disease, kidney malfunction, or the more common vitamin and hormone deficiency will all diminish your ability to handle stress and consequently increase premature ejaculation and other sexual dysfunctions.

Let your doctor be aware of the symptoms you are having. He may come across a problem you weren’t even aware of. Medication, herbal supplements, and counseling may be needed to help you deal with physical ailments and the unnecessary stress caused by it.

Alleged $40m contract scam: Jonathan’s cousin, wife secure N1bn bail

By Ikechukwu Nnochiri ABUJA –
The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, on Wednesday, granted bail to former President Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin, Robert Azibaola and his wife, Stella, to the tune of N1billion.
The duo who were arraigned before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, are answering to a seven-count criminal charge bordering on alleged $40million contract scam.
Trial Justice Nnamdi Dimgba gave the defendants bail in the sum of N500million each, even as he ordered them to produce two sureties in the like sum.

According to the court, the sureties must be owners of landed properties within the Asokoro District of Abuja. It further stressed that the sureties must present evidence of payment of income tax. However,
Justice Dimgba directed that the defendants should be remanded at Kuje Prison, pending the fulfilment of the bail conditions. Besides, the court ordered accelerated hearing on the matter, even as the case was adjourned till June 28, July 4 and 5 for commencement of trial.
It will be recalled that the court had on Tuesday, remanded Azibaola in prison custody shortly after he pleaded not guilty to the charge. The court however allowed his wife to go home on the basis of an administrative bail the anti-graft agency earlier granted to her. Meanwhile, Justice Dimgba, in his ruling, said he was minded to release the defendants on bail.
The judge stressed that “every citizen charged before a court is presumed innocent until proven guilty”.
He said the defendants are under the law, entitled to a definite time and facility to prepare their defence. “Taking a holistic appraisal of all the evidence before me, I am convinced that admit the defendant to bail. “I believe the need not to make a mockery of the bail system”, Justice Dimgba held. Meanwhile, the charge against the defendants attract punishment varying from 7 to 14 years imprisonment upon conviction. Specifically, EFCC alleged that the defendants received a $40million contract from the detained former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, retd. Equally charged to court over the charge bordering on conspiracy, fraud and money laundering, was a company allegedly belonging to the defendants, Oneplus Holding Limited. Azibaola was arraigned before the high court after he had spent over 80 days in custody of the EFCC. While moving their bail application, counsel to the defendants, Chief Chris Uche, SAN, informed Justice Dimgba that an Abuja High Court had earlier granted his client bail in the sum of N10m. He said the order was flagrantly disobeyed by the EFCC. Meantime, EFCC, through its lawyer, Mr. Aliyu Yusuf, urged the court to refuse the defendants bail, insisting that allegations against them are “very serious”. Some of the charges against the defendants read: “That you Azibaola Robert being the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer and a signatory to the Zenith Bank account of One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited, Mrs. Stella Azibaola Robert, being a director and a signatory to the account of One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited and Amobi Ogum( now at large) on or about 8th September, 2014 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court did conspire among yourselves to commit an illegal act to wit: money laundering of the sum of $40million transferred to the domiciliary account of One Plus Holdings Nigeria Limited with Zenith Bank, Account No. 5070365750 from the account of ONSA with the Central Bank of Nigeria upon a mandate Ref.
